We think our walks are fab - obviously! The fells are so beautiful, it's almost impossible not to have a good time... provided you know what you're doing.

Myself and my partner completed the 3 peaks challenge in 2019 which was organised by Basia. It was a huge challenge for us. The event was very well organised and coordinated, everything went really smoothly and we completed the challenge. We couldn't have done this without her help, knowledge and skills. We joined Basia on one of her family walks in the summer of 2021. She took us (family with one child of 9 years old) and three other families on a climb to Glenridding Dodd and Sheffield Pike.
Our daughter is not really a fan of walking but Basia’s enthusiasm and passion for the mountains and the fact that other children were coming along as well, including Basia’s cute boy, made her change her mind. We had a fantastic time. Basia had the whole trip well prepared in advance, we got excellent instructions on what to expect, how to prepare and what to bring. During the day Basia made sure that we had a good balance of making progress and having enough breaks. It was very relaxed to have somebody else taking care of the map and the track. We all three have fond memories of this day in the mountain and hope to make another trip with Basia in the near future again!

Myself, my husband and my kids decided to walk with Basia as our guide up two mountains in the Lake District a couple of years ago. We nearly made three but the weather turned and we had to turn back down, disappointed at the time not to reach the summit, but we had many giggles along the way…
We as a family could not recommend Hills & Skills enough. It was a real family event and Basia literally played our Mum for the day, making sure we had all the right equipment, appropriate food and drink, and made every step we took on our journey a very fun and safe one.
